Whether you want maximum reach (deeper discount, lower commission) or maximum income (higher commission, smaller discount), the math is yours to set when you apply — and it earns for the customer's full first year either way. You can revisit it later.

You earn for the whole first year
This isn't a pay-once program. On a monthly plan you earn your share of the 30% budget on every monthly payment for the referral's first 12 months. On an annual plan that entire first year is paid to you in a single commission when the annual charge settles. Either way it's a full year of earnings per customer — net of Stripe fees, refunds, and tax.
